What is the process of admission in Engineering? - Geeta University

Admission 2022

Admission in B.Tech is done on the basis of marks obtained in the JEE exam 2016. After clearing the JEE exam, candidates has to go through the process of counselling conducted by the Delhi Technical University. The students can get enrolled in these engineering programs on the marks scored by the candidates in class 12th and JEE exam 2016.

Selection Criteria

The selection criteria for the B.Tech admission are mentioned below:
  • The candidate must have passed their 12th exam and JEE exam.
  • The process for admission is divided like 60% is given to performance in JEE exam and 40% is given to performance in class 12th and other equivalent exam.
  • Candidates have to pass their 12th or equivalent exam from the standard board and institutions securing minimum 60% of marks in the total of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • The age of candidates must be minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years.

Admission Process

B.Tech admission in Top Engineering University in Haryana 2022 is done through counselling. Counselling will be held for those students who are shortlisted through the screening process. These candidates are then invited to attend the online counselling that will be organized by the university administration. Internal sliding also takes place within the University if somebody wants to change their stream.

Documents Required

The candidates are required to carry all the original certificates at the time of filling up of Application Form for Admission to Engineering for the verification. The candidates are required to give in only attested true copies of necessary documents at the time of admission to Engineering.
